Mail Plus was the brain child of two young entrepreneurs from Victoria who had an idea of a daily mail and parcel service for companies in Sydney. By knocking on doors in the Sydney CBD offering a unique personalised service they built up a large business with hundreds of clients. After working the area themselves learning the ins and outs of the business they trialed an area in Liverpool in Sydney`s western suburbs with a contractor assisting with the growth of the business. After several years of this operation and with the intention to franchise this concept they gathered information, seeked advice and in 2001 decided to roll out their plan.
Starting with a couple of enthusiastic franchisees they trained, set them up in the franchisees chosen territories and they were under way than on to the next group and quickly covered the Sydney metropolitan area. From here they went interstate to Queensland, acquired some existing small operators fine tuning their operation and so building their network than onto Victoria and replicated the system.
Today Mail Plus Delivery Services have a national network servicing over 7000 clients ranging from some of Australia`s biggest companies right down to small one man operations offering a unique personalised service to the large and small alike.
